This book is very clearly written. It is suitable for people who want to deepen their knowledge of chemistry and cosmetics, but do not necessaryly have an academic degree in those sciences. A basic understanding of chemistry is however necessary. The books helps to understand chemistry, cosmetic ingredients, chemical nomenclature etc. It will answer many of your questions. I was very happy to have found the book.
