She has written for national publications such as Working Woman and Fibromyalgia Aware. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia six years ago. She lives in Modesto, California, with her husband and two dogs.

finally an author who really tells it like it is and not a book filed with platatudes to buck up.....youll get over it. her decription and warning about withdrawal from cymbalta is worth ten times the cost of the book

Straight forward, easy read

I was in the midst of reading this book by Linda Meilink when I realized that I could not put it down. I suffer from FMS, but didn't understand why I had all my symptoms until this past year. Linda's book is a real and honest look at FMS, with some humor thrown in. She clearly has done her research and presents it well. My attention was captured from page 1.

My Mother has Fibromyalgia and our whole family has read this book. We now have a better understanding of what she lives with daily. I highly recommend reading this if you know ANYONE who lives with this!
