A great history in photographs

A book of photos with blurbs chronicling Bowie's career from 1963 until 2009.It has some very revealing photos.
The one that struck me the most was the one on pages 104-105 that show an obviously strung-out Bowie clutching a carton of milk in his hand with a cigarette dangling from his lips.I've never seen a photograph that so terrifyingly captured a man who was at the height of his artistic abilities but at the same time was so close to the abyss.when I ordered this book I was expecting a cheap knock off,which in a way it is, but I ended up enjoying it very much.

This is a wonderful book with many pictures that are very special! The book started from the very beginning of his career to the later part. It basically is a illustrated book (as the title states) of his lifes exciting moments. Great, beautiful and very informative. It made me really happy to see the very rare pictures, then it had written information about that picture It arrived before I expected and was used but looked like it was brand new. Its a great collectors addition!!
