This was an excellent debut novel! A character story through and through. If you're looking for a book that combines humor, intellect, and social commentary, this is it. I've never read a lesbian romance novel before, and this was a great introduction. It takes the characters of Mim and Nadia and makes them nuanced, messy, and real people. I can't wait to see what Morrison writes next!

I've been following Morrison's writing for about four years and bought Juniper Lane as soon as it came out. It retains the complex character development and nuanced emotion that characterizes Morrison's style, and the transition from fanfiction to original fiction is graceful in the development of the quirky setting and interesting plot points.

About the Author
Windy Dryden is Professor of Psychotherapeutic Studies as well as being the Programme Co-ordinator of the MSc in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Dr Andrew Reeves has worked as a counsellor and supervisor in various setting for over twenty years. Originally qualified as a social worker, he specialised in child protection and adult mental health before moving to working full-time as a counsellor at the University of Liverpool. Following the death by suicide of one of his clients early in his career, he undertook extensive research into ways in which counsellors and psychotherapists work with suicidal clients and he has written extensively about this since. His recent book with SAGE, Counselling Suicidal Clients (2010) has quickly become a popular title, as has Key Issues for Counselling in Action: Second Edition, which he co-edited with Prof Windy Dryden. His award-winning training DVD, Tight Ropes and Safety Nets: Counselling Suicidal Clients (with Jon Shears and Sue Wheeler) is now being used by many therapy training programmes throughout the UK.

His new book, An Introduction to Counselling and Psychotherapy: From Theory to Practice (2012) has several aims: to help provide prospective students of counselling and psychotherapy with information to support their training decisions; to help integrate theory into their early steps in working with clients on a practice placement; and to help bridge the move from qualification into practice as a therapist.

He has other new projects in the pipeline, including editing the new series, Essential Issues for Counselling and Psychotherapy in which he will be writing the new title, Working with Risk in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as working with Windy Dryden on the sixth edition of the bestselling SAGE text, The Handbook of Individual Therapy.

Excellent Condition and Speedy Delivery, Great read too

So I completed this course last semester along with mother baby. I truly enjoyed reading this book. Psychologically, this book touches on the development of children in a way that I have never thought about prior to reading this book. It is a very informative text and I not only recommend it for nursing school, but for just an interesting read. So now on to the important stuff, does this book help you to pass the end of term HESI. Hm...I am not exactly sure, I didn't do that great on the HESI, but I did feel as though I learned a great deal from the course. Another thing, the instructor for the course had us skipping chapters and she picked and chose the content that she wanted us to read, which probably did more harm than good. Despite that, I did do well in the class overall, the content questions on EVOLVE truly help you to understand the text content.
